Leave your proof of residency at home because we’re breaking all the rules with a trail at Indian Brook Park, the super snooty and exclusive outdoor space only open to Essexians. Essexites… Essexholes? …People who live in Essex. We'll be starting from the lower parking lot, which is on the left down a hill: 44.530100, -73.097298.
The hares tell me this will be the sh*ttiest trail of the season with defecation all over the place, not just in doorways. That mean’s you probably shouldn’t wear your new pair of boots you picked up at OGE and maybe bring an ice scrapper in case you step in the wrong place. For the poop, not ice.
BUT NOW THERE’S SNOW IN THE FORECAST SO WHO EVEN KNOWS HOW MUCH POOP THERE WILL BE. THANKS A LOT, WINTER.
Speaking of ice, this was supposed to be a snowshoe trail, but you can thank Climate Change for the fact you probably won’t need those. Some sort of microspike or yaktrax is recommended though, unless you want to each sh*t in a few a lot of places.
PACK YOUR SNOWSHOES, WE GOT SOME BIG, LONG INCHES OF WHITE STUFF CUMMING AT US BEFORE THIS WEEKEND.
