Was Green Up Day too tame for you? Well, Hole is back to make sure you remember the darker side of hashing. As our resident geocacher, he’s bringing us another ballbusting bonus trail that I can only describe as “We should probably start earlier so we’re not finishing in the dark.” 😬 Expect around 6.9 miles true trail with roughly 6.8 miles of it off-trail and some hilly terrain. Note the 11am start time. Pack a lunch.
I’m also told this trail will be “straight up geocaching”. What’s that mean? At opening circle the pack will be presented the coordinates of the first check. Coordinates for second check will be in Tupperware™ at first check and so on. Some checks will have beverages, some will only contain disappointment.
I think someone is taking inspiration from the Barkley Marathons…
