VTH3 Trail #015: A Viking Off-The-Grid Campy Weekend

When: Saturday, August 6, 1:00 HST
Where: Kettle Pond State Park, Day Use Parking Lot aka 44.295078, -72.304846
Hare: Flexible Video Endoscope and 69 Sided Dice
What to bring: $10 hash cash for drinks and foods, horns, virgins, animal pelts

Celebrate your inner viking with VTH3 this summer, deep in the Vermont wilderness within the Groton State Forest, home to 6.9 different state parks! Bring your horned helmets, pointy drinking vessels and best Scandinavian accent as we pillage and plunder the forest for no particular reason. After trail, we’ll be feasting upon the blood of our enemies (or chili) cooked directly in a fire! Metal. 🤘

Trail starts and ends at the day-use parking lot for Kettle Pond State Park and will be bursting with shiggy. A few note of warning from our hares Flexi and Dice: cellphone service is pretty effing awful in Groton State Forest, so if you’re definitely interested, RSVP on Facebook or Meetup with a yes so we know to wait for you. Or shoot Flexi a message on Signal.

If you drop “Kettle Pond” into Google or Apple Maps, you’ll be taken to a locked gate, so we recommend leveraging the GPS coordinates: 44.295078, -72.304846

We’ll also be in the area all weekend if you’re interested in camping—just head over to our site for more information: https://www.vontramph3.com/camp-weekend. So come for the weekend or come for the day. Either way, you should come (with all of us watching and cheering you on).
